Atelier Sophie Description

Although I described this as a time management game, starting with Shallie of Dusk, the time limit has been completely removed from the main games.

Can’t give much of a description because I haven’t actually started the game due to replaying Arland currently so I’ll give what I researched instead.

The alchemy system is some type of puzzle minigame where fitting in the base ingredients at different points produce different effects. It’s another highly customizable crafting system different from Dusk’s or Arland’s.

Battle system is turn based RPG style using four party members this time. The whole entire turn seems to be continuous with you setting your attacks beforehand and then both enemies and allies executes them from top to bottom.

There’s a day/night and weather system in this game, which seems to affects the ingredients and enemies available in gathering areas and also some events and item shop discounts only occur during specific time and weather conditions.

There’s some feature called “Dollmake” where you synthesize parts for Plachta to use. Adds another layer of customization to the alchemy system by directly affecting a unit via items.
